When designing our present offering for the UK agency market, we decided to merge
our knowledge of the main UK agency business sectors and create a system that would
be acclaimed as wholly universal and totally versatile.
In addition, when designing our latest system we opted to utilise the latest and
best technology available. We therefore wrote the system in Microsoft™ ASP.NET
2. This development environment was so hot off the shelf when we started developing
the software, that there were only a limited number of companies in the world offering
support and hosting for this new technology.

1. Database
The online database is the industry standard SQL Server developed by Microsoft.
2. Web Server
Our Web Servers are Intel Certified, dual XEON processor machines, located in a
protected environment in a purpose built storage facility known as a Data Centre.
3. Portal Uploads
We’ve passed all our portal feeding routines over to a technology partner, being
BVS Portals.
This company are a high calibre technology provider that will provide
you with an excellent independent service. Portal feeds are provided from £6 per
feed per month and all the best portal sites are catered for.

4. Data-Security
All data is stored behind an industry leading Firewall unit. Full system backups
are undertaken on a daily basis.
5. Accessibility
Although the system will work over a slower Internet connection, we strongly advise
running the system over a Broadband connection of at least 512K

6. Set up (plug n play)
Unlike other systems, the BaySoft system places little reliance on third party components,
which sometimes prove incompatible with end-user hardware.
Because of this the BaySoft system requires very limited adjustment of your internet
browser, and set-up times are typically less than 2 minutes.
7. Compatibility
The BaySoft system requires that you use the latest non-beta version of Microsoft's
Internet Explorer (currently IE7, Service Pack 03), with Java-script and Active-X
support enabled. You will also need the latest copy of Adobe Reader™ (free).
To print letters you will need a copy of Microsoft Word™ 2003, or better.
As with any other software, Internet Explorer can be adversely affected by the presence
of spy-ware and viruses on your PC.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your PC is up-to-date and well protected
from security threats such as hackers, viruses and spy/ad-ware.
